Wtb tank!

Anyone who's used the random dungeon finder tool knows that there's an overall shortage of tanks. It's true for any level, but varies more between low levels and 80s.

Recently, a friend of mine hit 80 on his prot pally. He leveled as prot doing both questing and random dungeons, and once he hit 80, we began grinding dungeons for gear and emblems. I go with him quite regularly on my priest. For a few reasons: I actually really enjoy 5m dungeons, I love healing on my priest and with a pocket healer, we can coordinate pulls on vent so things go more smoothly. Not to mention he's more comfortable with me healing him than others since we know how each other plays.

So you'd think this would be an ideal setting. And generally, it is. But we still have the lazy dps who can clearly see that he's an undergeared tank pull aggro simply because they're so used to overgeared tanks in 5m and they don't try to avoid pulling aggro from him. Then they'll bitch about the fact that he can't hold aggro (at times, he's a good tank, just undergeared still). What gets me about this situation isn't that they complain about his occasional lack of threat-- it's that they gripe about the long wait for dps in queue, and yet, they are merely dps, a dime a dozen. When you have a tank busting his/her ass to gear out, and doing it the hard way instead of just gearing up as ret and then switching to prot. I find that annoying that they should gripe. You can tell, simply by glancing his max hp, that he's still undergeared. Work with us, not against us, people. And, you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you don't like the long wait for dps to queue, then reroll tank.
