Ellos!

lulz Hai! Welcome to my tongue-in-cheek guide (and rant forum) to the game of World of Warcraft.

I suppose, as this is the first entry to this blog, I ought to start by telling my future dedicated and well-informed readers a bit about myself. My one-year anniversary is coming up soon-- in about a week, as of this writing. I've become a serious WoW addict in my short time. Mostly, I heal. I enjoy the challenge, but healing can easily make one a somewhat jaded elitist. My 'main' (read first 80, collector of mounts, companions and achievements, along with other fun in-game toys) is a mm/surv hunter. I also have a holy/ret paladin and a disc/shadow priest who are level 80. Currently, I'm leveling a Shaman and druid-- both resto/caster dps. I'm none too fond of melee, thus I have no tank in my arsenal of toons.

Leveling toons is extremely easy to do. Particularly now with the in-game map quest helper. You can also find a lot of free resources that will aid in your leveling. I shall include some of those in a later post, assuming I remember to. Gearing toons once they reach maximum level is extremely easy now, as well. Grinding heroics for those daily emblems of frost and the emblems of triumph that now drop like candy. You can easily have a gearscore of 5k+ within a week of reaching 80. And even sooner, you'll be ready to do lower level raids.

I play, mostly, Alliance, on the US PvP realm, Wildhammer. PvP isn't really my bag. And when I'm out questing or farming mats I find it annoying to be ganked. But, that's my problem for being on a PvP realm. Unfortunately for me, when I began playing I didn't fully understand how things worked as far as PvP goes, nor did I realize that the realm to which I was referred had such a Horde dominance.

My main interests are, as I said, collecting things. I'm a complete mount/companion/achievement whore, and quite proud of it. To date, I'm 87/100 for the 100 mount achievement and have over 104 companions on my hunter. And some 6200+ achievement points. I also enjoy raiding. I recently left my guild after a lot of contemplation. I decided that would be the best option for me at this time. I miss most of my former guildmates, but am enjoying the calmness that I have not listening to drunken nerdrage in Vent.

My hunter, being my main, is the best geared toon I have, currently. For those of you interested in gearscores, she boasts a modest 5600+ and my paladin is sitting around 5200, holy.

I find professions to be invaluable and utilize them as much as I can. Maxed professions include: enchanting, engineering, herbalism, inscription, mining and tailoring. Along with two maxed chefs (only one with the 'Chef' title, however), a maxed firstaid and a maxed fishing. Currently, I'm working on alchemy, a second herbalist, jewel crafting and a skinner with the toons I'm leveling.

Though my hunter is my 'main', currently, I enjoy playing the priest the most. Both as a healer and on the rare occasion I dps.
